Description

HDR is seeking a Roadway Engineer/Project Manager to plan, design, and deliver urban and rural transportation infrastructure projects. The role combines roadway engineering design leadership with project management, client coordination, agency reviews, budget and schedule tracking, quality control, and oversight of CAD designers and EITs. Candidates need a bachelor's degree, at least seven years of transportation design and project development experience, a professional engineering license recognized in the job location, and hands-on experience with roadway CAD tools such as Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, Bentley ConceptStation, or Autodesk InfraWorks.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Required Previous Experiences: At least 7 years of transportation design and project development experience
Experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
Professional engineering license, such as a PE, recognized in the job location
Experience with highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, concept alignments, geometric layouts, and CAD base alignment plans
Preferred Qualifications: Montana PE license or ability to obtain it through reciprocity
Hands-on Civil 3D experience preferred; OpenRoads Designer also accepted
