Description
HDR is hiring a Roadway Engineering Intern to apply standard engineering techniques, learn local and state design requirements, perform design calculations, plan production, cost estimates, and quality-control reviews under supervision, and use Microstation Open Roads and AutoCAD Civil 3D. The intern will also participate in mentoring and young-professional programs. Required qualifications include current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, basic Microsoft Office skills, and commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture; preferred qualifications include two years of completed coursework toward a degree with a 3.0 GPA, industry-related software knowledge, and local candidacy.
