The Texas Department of Transportation’s Ellis County Maintenance Office is hiring a Roadway Maintenance Foreman to lead and oversee roadway maintenance and repair crews. The role involves directing daily operations for roadway repairs, right-of-way maintenance, traffic control asset upkeep, responding to emergencies, operating light and heavy equipment, maintaining records, and supervising maintenance staff. It is an onsite, full-time regular non-management position in Waxahachie, Texas, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of roadway maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a Class A CDL within 45 days of hire.
