GableTek is hiring an ABB Robot Programmer for a six-month contract supporting a large-scale automation project. The role begins in Grand Rapids, Michigan, then moves to South Carolina in August for installation, commissioning, robot programming, troubleshooting, production support, and launch activities. Candidates need at least three years of ABB robot programming experience, familiarity with automated assembly or manufacturing systems, independent troubleshooting ability, commissioning and production support experience, and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. ABB RobotStudio, PLC troubleshooting, vision systems, conveyor or material-handling integration, and launch or installation support are preferred. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, travel per diem, overtime opportunities, and potential for future automation programs.
