Description
The role operates Fanuc robotic welders to weld sheet-metal components, assemblies, and structural steel using the GMAW process, and performs finish and spot grinding. Responsibilities include setting up robotic equipment, positioning and aligning metal parts, reading blueprints and work instructions, meeting production and quality standards, performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting quality, training, scheduling, and throughput activities. The position requires a high school education, GMAW capability, basic math and measurement skills, and the ability to work in a team environment; prior welding or robot experience is preferred but not required.
