Intuitive Surgical is hiring a Systems Analyst to develop and own the tele-operated motion performance of robotic surgical instruments for the daVinci Surgical System. The role involves analyzing instrument behavior, tuning algorithms, implementing safety and risk-analysis features, supporting regulatory approvals, and collaborating with clinical, mechanical, manufacturing, and other technical teams. Candidates should have a robotics-related PhD or MS, at least four years of related experience, and expertise in control systems, robot kinematics, C/C++, MATLAB, and hardware, software, and mechanism integration.
