Intuitive Surgical is hiring a Systems Analyst (Robotic Control Engineer) to design, develop, implement, and test control and safety software for DaVinci surgical robots and instruments. The role covers tele-robotic motion control, robotic manipulator and safety algorithms, calibration, diagnostics, production and field issue analysis, root-cause investigation, risk mitigation, and integration of electrical, mechanical, software, control, user-interface, and safety systems. Candidates need a master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with at least six years of mechatronic control experience, or a PhD with at least three years of mechatronic control experience, along with servo-control, embedded C, hardware-software-mechanism integration, and strong communication skills.
