Description
Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) is seeking experienced Robotic Programmers to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, launching, and optimizing robotic automation systems across various industries such as aerospace, alternative energy, food & beverage, rubber & plastics, automotive, material handling, and error-proofing. This role involves significant travel (~60%) to customer sites and requires strong technical expertise in industrial robots like FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Motoman, along with PLC/HMI programming using Rockwell and Siemens platforms. Candidates should also possess knowledge of VFD and Servo control systems, vision-guided robotics, electromechanical systems integration, and automotive standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of industrial robot programming experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and mentor others.
