Description
The Robotic Welder & Programmer sets up, programs, troubleshoots, and maintains robotic welding cells; creates and optimizes weld paths, sequences, and parameters; and performs manual MIG welding and fabrication. The role also runs first-article and production parts, reads blueprints and weld symbols, performs inspections, maintains equipment, develops process instructions, balances workflow, and designs or recommends fixtures to improve quality, cost, and throughput. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, welding or robotics/automation training or significant related experience, at least two years of production MIG welding experience, and two to three years of hands-on robotic welding programming experience.
