Description
South Asian Youth Action is hiring a part-time Robotics/Coding Activity Specialist for an elementary school program in Elmhurst, Queens. The role teaches robotics and programming to middle-school-aged after-school participants, prepares them for robotics competitions, develops lesson plans, manages classrooms, supports youth development, and maintains program materials and records. The position requires at least two years of academic preparation in coding, programming, or robotics, experience teaching youth, and knowledge of VEX and LEGO robotics. Compensation is $30–$45 per hour, with availability for 2–5 days per week during the school year from September through June.
