Description
Caterpillar is hiring a Robotics Engineer to build and deploy autonomy components across perception, planning, control, and learning for large off-road machines. The role owns components from prototype through production on real hardware, participates in robotics software testing and certification, and works in small outcome-owning pods. Candidates should be robotics generalists with production-level experience, expertise in at least one autonomy domain, and proficiency in C++ and Python; ROS or similar experience is also required. The position is full-time and onsite five days per week at Caterpillar’s Irving, Texas office, with domestic relocation assistance available but no visa sponsorship.
