Description
Venti Technologies is seeking a highly experienced robotics engineer to lead the evaluation, development, and deployment of robotic automation solutions for autonomous vehicle operations in ports, intermodal rail yards, and logistics hubs. The role focuses initially on autonomous trailer coupling, including automated air-brake and electrical interface connection and disconnection, and involves evaluating robotics technologies, defining system requirements, leading proof-of-concept activities, integrating robotic systems with autonomous transport trailers, and developing custom robotic capabilities where needed. The position requires a relevant PhD, at least 8 years of robotics industry experience, industrial robotics and systems-integration expertise, and hands-on experience with C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, MoveIt, and robot kinematics and controls.
