Description
The Robotics Engineer will develop and optimise core autonomy algorithms for Jacobsen vehicles, focusing on localisation, navigation, motion planning, trajectory generation, sensor fusion, and algorithm integration into ROS2 or equivalent autonomy stacks. The role also involves analysing field data, debugging systems, and supporting validation through simulation and digital twin environments. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least five years of experience in robotics, autonomy, or control systems, along with expertise in C and/or Python, ROS/ROS2, real-time systems, and algorithm optimisation.
