GrayMatter Robotics is hiring a Robotics Engineer: Government Projects to lead the implementation of innovative robotic manufacturing systems beyond its current product offerings. The role combines approximately 50% software work and 50% mechatronics or mechanical engineering and hardware work, including robotic cell design, custom tooling and fixture fabrication, GMR-AI software configuration, sensor prototyping, process development, and customer-site travel. Candidates need a master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering or computer science field, 6DOF robot programming experience, motion-control and robotics-programming familiarity, C++ and Python programming skills, 3D modeling and manufacturing-drawing experience, and the ability to work independently with internal and external stakeholders.
