The role involves diagnosing and restoring systems, performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, supporting customer operators, documenting service activity, coordinating field scheduling, monitoring fleet performance, and identifying recurring failure patterns. Candidates need at least three years of field service experience supporting robotic or industrial automation systems, strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings, CMMS experience, and comfort with substantial local and overnight travel.
