Atoms is hiring a Robotics Lead to provide technical leadership across perception, prediction, planning, controls, localization, and vehicle systems for safe and reliable autonomous vehicle behavior. The role defines the robotics and autonomy architecture, develops motion-planning and control algorithms, diagnoses real-world failures, establishes validation methodologies, integrates machine-learning models, and mentors engineers. Candidates need significant experience with complex autonomous systems, strong C++ or Python programming, and the ability to lead architecture-level initiatives through production deployment. The role is onsite in San Francisco and offers a base salary of $255,000 to $322,000 per year, plus equity and other benefits.
