Amazon is hiring a Robotics Software Engineer to build and harden the software stack between robotics hardware and AI policies. The role brings up sensors and actuators, develops multi-process Python and ROS 2 runtimes, improves middleware and perception performance, generalizes reusable infrastructure, and ports code to constrained edge devices. It requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, at least five years of software development experience, hybrid-language experience, and experience owning software systems across distributed processes, edge devices, or real-time constraints.
