Description
Breaker is hiring a full-time Robotics Software Engineer to work on-site in Eveleigh, Sydney, Australia. The role develops autonomous navigation, motion planning, decision-making, and teaming algorithms for drones, ground vehicles, and other robotic systems; integrates sensors, cameras, and edge compute; builds simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing frameworks; and validates systems through field testing and partner integrations. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, Python and/or C++ proficiency, edge-deployment experience, Australian working rights, and at least three years of experience in computer vision, robotic control, motion planning, or edge computing on robotic hardware. Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, CUDA or NVIDIA Jetson, UAVs, IoT, real-time operating systems, and collaborative team work is preferred.
