United Robots is hiring a Robotics Software Engineer to develop autonomous navigation, motion planning, trajectory tracking, obstacle avoidance, localisation, safety, and multi-robot coordination systems for industrial mobile robots. The role involves building and testing navigation components in ROS and ROS 2, including Nav2, and collaborating with SLAM, embedded, machine-learning, safety, and fleet-management teams. Candidates need at least two years of relevant experience, practical ROS or ROS 2 knowledge, C++ or Python, motion-planning and robot-control knowledge, Linux and Git proficiency, and the ability to diagnose issues using logs and telemetry.
