GHD is hiring a Rock Mechanics Geologist for its Montreal office to support open-pit and underground excavation projects. The role involves mapping and classifying rock masses, monitoring construction quality, inspecting and testing rock excavations, supervising support systems, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in geology or equivalent, at least five years of experience monitoring open-pit and underground rock excavations, French proficiency, an Ordre des géologues du Québec membership, a valid ASP Construction card, and a driver’s license with a vehicle.
