Description
The Rocket Propulsion Engineer will work on-site with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, supporting US Navy surface-systems programs. Responsibilities include rocket motor and energetic-component in-service and production engineering, fleet failure investigations, energetic-component and explosive testing and analysis, failure investigations, and configuration management of technical data. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, at least three years of engineering experience, analytical and project-management skills, and familiarity with MATLAB, CAD, and testing ordnance and explosives; US citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a DOD security clearance are required.
