Description
The Rolling Mill Operator operates, monitors, and controls production machines; prepares coils for rolling; provides and mounts paper and cores; changes support and working rollers; adjusts strip guides; supports the first operator with mill and winding-system start-up and shut-down; performs visual quality inspections; documents simple tests; and carries out cleaning and equipment maintenance. The role requires ideally completed vocational training in a chemical or technical occupation, preferably as a Machine and Plant Operator, machine-operation experience, technical understanding, shift willingness, self-motivation, flexibility, teamwork, and good German skills.
