DNV Energy Systems North America is hiring a Rotating Machinery Senior Engineer Subject Matter Expert to support advisory services across M&A, independent engineering, and owner’s engineering for thermal and wind energy assets. The role leads technical evaluations of turbines, generators, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and related systems; assesses asset condition, performance, and reliability; performs root cause analysis and failure investigations; validates technical inputs for financial models; and provides decision-grade insights to developers, owners, lenders, and investors. It is based in Montreal, Toronto, or Calgary with a hybrid schedule, requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least eight years of rotating machinery experience, and offers a starting CAD 110,000–185,000 range for Vancouver and Toronto.
