Description
PG&E is hiring for its 12-month Engineering Rotation Development Program in Electric Engineering (Power Systems) in San Luis Obispo. The program rotates participants through up to two departments, including distribution and transmission planning, operations engineering, system protection, and grid innovation, with six months in each rotation. Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university between May 2025 and July 2027, reliable transportation, and may benefit from power-systems coursework, Python and SQL experience, former PG&E internship experience, utility or power-industry experience, and EIT certification. The program pays $49.51 per hour for a bachelor’s degree and $54.32 per hour for a master’s degree, and PG&E does not provide visa sponsorship for F-1, J-1, or other visa statuses.
