The Sanitation Division Route Driver operates trash, garbage, and brush-collection trucks on residential routes, assists crews, monitors safety and work quality, empties trucks at transfer stations or landfills, performs preventative maintenance and cleaning, and completes route paperwork. The role pays $18.80–$21.44 and requires a Class B Georgia Commercial Driver’s License, a satisfactory seven-year driving history, outdoor and heavy work experience, physical ability to lift 35–100 pounds, and English communication skills. New hires may work as relief drivers until a regular route is assigned.
