The Route Service Manager at Interstate Batteries is responsible for delivering batteries and providing exceptional customer service to a designated route of customers and dealers. The role involves collaborating with dealers to optimize battery stock, ensuring quality program execution, and fostering strong dealer relationships to enhance retention. Key responsibilities include safe and timely deliveries, adherence to environmental health and safety regulations, proper truck loading/unloading procedures, and meticulous asset tracking. Additionally, the manager will manage dealer accounts, handling sales, consignment, warranty, rotation, cash collection, and invoicing. They must complete delivery documents promptly and interact professionally with various stakeholders.
