ERM is hiring Right of Way Agents in Richmond, Virginia; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Charlotte, North Carolina to support electric transmission and distribution projects. The role acquires land, rights, licenses, leases, permits, and other documents; negotiates with landowners; settles property-damage claims; researches property ownership; and advises on fair market values. It is a full-time, limited-term role of 12 months that may be extended, with regional travel required. Applicants need a high school diploma, at least two years of right-of-way experience, a notary public or ability to obtain one within 30 days, and knowledge of real estate values and appraisal practices. The annual base pay is $78,240–$94,577, or $37.61–$45.46 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and other benefits available to eligible employees.
