Description
Sonoco is hiring a 12-week paid internship for its Consumer Packaging America Division in Hartsville, South Carolina. The internship provides hands-on projects, plant tours, leadership engagement, networking, and exposure to manufacturing, process engineering, quality, safety, commercial/sales, finance/accounting, supply chain management, and related fields. Applicants should be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Materials or Packaging Science, or a related business field, and should have previous internship experience, leadership experience, technical aptitude, and strong communication skills. Compensation is a monthly base salary ranging from $3,700 to $5,700 depending on degree level and engineering or business classification, with housing and activity stipends, relocation assistance, medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement matching, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
