Description
The Embedded Real-Time Networking Engineer will own the deterministic bus layer connecting a robot's real-time operating system to actuators, sensors, and the Robot Abstraction Layer. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining EtherCAT master stacks, bridging EtherCAT to the robot abstraction interface, commissioning servo drives, synchronising hardware clocks, configuring TSN traffic shaping, tuning CANfd on the compute unit, validating WCET and cycle timing, and providing measurement and diagnostic tooling. The role requires hands-on industrial EtherCAT, PTP, TSN, CANfd, C/C++, and embedded networking experience, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
