PAR Technology Corporation is hiring a Ruby on Rails Engineer for a remote position in the United States. The role owns meaningful product features, develops backend APIs and business logic, writes clean code and automated tests, supports production issue resolution, and collaborates with product, infrastructure, and broader engineering teams. Candidates need 3–5 years of practical industry experience or equivalent Ruby on Rails system-building experience, backend API experience, database proficiency, service-based and Rails monolith experience, strong communication skills, and a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience. Additional experience with NodeJS, React, Nest.js, GraphQL, retail or fuel and convenience industries, distributed teams, and Open Commerce platform technologies is advantageous.
