The role focuses on developing and maintaining high-performance Rust software, including components and applications, and helping the Data Science team build a unified SDK for AI-based models. Responsibilities include feature design, clean idiomatic Rust implementation, testing, code reviews, technical documentation, performance improvements, and collaboration with global engineers.
