MatX is hiring a Rust Verification Engineer to write and maintain Rust tests that verify software models and hardware designs agree with specifications and each other. The role builds scalable test infrastructure, develops hardware test harnesses, explores corner cases and random sequences, and collaborates with architects and design engineers. It is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the Mountain View, California office, with no prior hardware or verification experience required. Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $600,000 plus equity depending on career level.
