One Acre Fund is hiring a Civil Engineer (Project Engineer) to oversee the civil engineering aspects of infrastructure at the RICA Seed Centre in Bugesera, Rwanda. The role leads civil design review and technical oversight, supervises construction of earthworks, concrete structures, roads, drainage, and utilities, ensures quality and safety compliance, resolves engineering issues, and supports contractors and junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, at least seven years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of civil design, construction methods, building codes, and safety standards. The position offers health insurance, paid time off, and a two-year contract, and is open to Rwandan citizens or permanent residents.
