Description
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is hiring multiple temporary full-time SAAS/SAPOL Co-Responders for the Salisbury adult mental health service. The role involves providing real-time mental health assessment and triage alongside SA Ambulance Service and SA Police, diverting people from emergency departments and custodial settings where appropriate, coordinating referrals and handovers, and contributing to debriefs and quality improvement. Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a nurse with current AHPRA registration, have mental health assessment and crisis intervention experience, hold an unrestricted South Australian driver's licence, and meet the stated registration and mental health qualification requirements. The position pays $130,190–$136,010 per year plus superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits and runs until 28 September 2028.
