Description

The SACC Assistant Site Director plans, manages, and supervises a developmentally appropriate school-age childcare program at one YMCA site, including extended care activities, special events, child health and safety, staff performance, inventory, records, and abuse-risk procedures. The role supports the SACC Director, requires relevant education or credentials plus direct experience with children under age 13, and is based at multiple sites in Montclair and Verona, New Jersey, Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with an hourly pay rate of $17.25–$17.85.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Arts in Education, Child Development, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field; or a School Age Child Care credential; or two years of college with 18 credits in a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: Two years of direct experience with children under age 13, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
