Description
GHD is seeking a Safety Advisor to work with Main Roads WA in Perth on a six-month fixed-term contract at 50 hours per week, fully seconded to Main Roads WA. The role supports infrastructure and maintenance activities across the road network by promoting safe work practices, providing WHS advice, managing workplace risks, conducting inspections and toolbox talks, investigating incidents and hazards, reviewing contractor safety performance, improving safety systems, and building a positive safety culture. A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is the minimum qualification, along with relevant construction, civil infrastructure, road maintenance, mining, utilities or similar operational experience; road construction or transport infrastructure exposure is highly regarded, while government experience and ICAM certification are advantageous.
