Description
Pyrotek is hiring a full-time Safety & Environmental Engineer to partner with manufacturing and product teams on process, equipment, material, and operational changes. The role leads safety and environmental programs, maintains regulatory compliance, conducts hazard assessments and audits, performs emissions calculations, supports reporting and testing, develops corrective actions, and provides EHS training. It requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or related engineering, at least four years of safety or environmental regulatory experience in manufacturing, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel. The position combines office work with frequent plant and operational-site work, may require domestic travel of up to 15%, and offers a base salary of $80,000 to $95,000 annually plus benefits.
