Description
SBCS is hiring a part-time Safety Associate for its San Diego Emergency Shelter program. The role works Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for 16 hours at $21.87 per hour and is responsible for front-desk oversight, safety inspections, nightly checks, inventory, housekeeping, unit preparation, client support, and maintaining the privacy and security of the shelter. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and critical-thinking skills, crisis-intervention experience, cultural competency, English fluency, and the ability to work with diverse populations.
