Description
Assystem is hiring a Nuclear Safety Engineer to support a Defence client’s nuclear facilities and infrastructure programmes. The role develops and maintains safety cases, design substantiation, technical assurance documentation, EIMT schedules, safety reviews, and independent technical assessment scopes; it also reviews engineering submissions, provides safety advice, and supports design, operation, maintenance, and modification activities. The position requires an HNC or equivalent in engineering or a related discipline, Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience, and knowledge of HAZID and HAZOP. It is an umbrella contractor or permanent staff position based in Glasgow, with at least two days per week in the client office and one to two days of remote work per week.
