Description
AQUIST GmbH is hiring a Safety Engineer to provide technical safety support for construction and installation projects in the chemical heavy industry. The role is primarily site-based in the Hamburg-Harburg region, with travel only in exceptional cases. Responsibilities include monitoring safety compliance, developing safety concepts, conducting safety walk-throughs with clients and contractors, and documenting safety performance. The position requires a safety engineering or occupational safety qualification, 1–2 years of professional experience, German fluency, basic English, PC skills, and a valid driver’s license. It is a full-time 40-hour-per-week role available under an employment contract or on a freelance basis, with home office where possible.
