Description
The Safety Engineer will provide consulting on occupational health and safety and accident prevention for operating facilities, equipment, workplace design, ergonomics, and PPE selection and testing. The role includes safety inspections before commissioning and introduction of work procedures, workplace accident investigations, regular workplace walkthroughs, employee compliance and safety briefings, and the development and maintenance of digital safety tools such as LinSafe and LinA. The position requires a safety engineer, civil or environmental engineering, or a technical qualification with a master craftsman certificate and safety specialist qualification, along with relevant production and construction-site experience, strong German, analytical and technical skills, and willingness to travel 40% of the time.
