Description
NXP Semiconductors is hiring a Safety Engineer for its Functional Safety Competence Center to develop safety-compliant semiconductor products. The role defines and validates safety concepts and architectures, develops safety requirements, performs FTA, DFA, and FMEDA analyses, supports safety verification and validation strategies, and collaborates with hardware, software, systems, and implementation teams. A bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical, or computer engineering and 5–8 years of semiconductor product development experience with functional safety exposure are required; automotive or industrial safety experience and familiarity with safety analysis tools are preferred.
