Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a full-time Safety Engineer to support the SWFLANT mission by developing, implementing, and sustaining safety programs across ordnance, radiation, environmental, hazardous materials, ergonomics, fall protection, and other industrial processes. The role requires onsite work at Kings Bay Naval Base, with occasional shift work and no telework, and includes managing ESH programs, analyzing chemical and environmental-health data, preparing analytical reports, and presenting safety procedures. A bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, or industrial hygiene, DoD ESH experience, hazardous-waste and chemical-management experience, and a U.S. DoD Secret clearance are required; the salary range is $70,500 to $130,900.
