Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer in Xi'an, China, to provide day-to-day EHS support for laboratory and site operations. The role manages compliance, hazards, incidents, corrective actions, training, design reviews, and Management of Change activities while supporting operational readiness and cross-site EHS alignment. The position requires independent judgment, strong communication, English proficiency, and a China Registered Safety Engineer certification or equivalent; a master’s degree in a relevant safety or environmental field and semiconductor or manufacturing experience are preferred.
