Description
Chesapeake Contracting Group is seeking a Safety Engineer to support its Safety Department and field construction operations. The role involves promoting safety culture, reviewing subcontractor safety plans and job hazard analyses, monitoring compliance with OSHA and other regulations, conducting safety walks, auditing Procore implementation of project-specific safety plans, recommending hazard controls, and providing safety training. The position requires relevant safety experience, OSHA 30 certification, first-aid/CPR and AED qualification, and knowledge of construction safety principles; a bachelor’s degree or board certification in safety or a related field is preferred. Compensation is $60,000–$90,000 annually, with healthcare, a 401K match, wellness programs, and advancement opportunities.
