Description
The Safety Engineer III will serve as an embedded senior program safety engineer for the Space Resources Program team in North Hollywood, California. The six-month contract, with possible extension, supports design, build, commissioning, testing, hazard identification, safety programs, regulatory compliance, incident response, technical reporting, and safety readiness reviews. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, at least 10 years of safety or related experience, and 5 years in aerospace, manufacturing, chemical, pilot-plant, prototyping, or test operations. The position pays $70-$75 per hour on W2 and requires physical work in industrial conditions.
