Fairwinds Technologies, LLC is hiring a full-time Safety Engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to lead system safety activities for the E-767 AWACS Radio System Upgrade program. The role covers aircraft system safety programs, hazard analyses, airworthiness certification, safety risk mitigation, aircraft modifications, testing, and certification support, while working with systems engineering, avionics, software, flight test, airworthiness authorities, and government stakeholders. The position requires an active Secret Security Clearance at time of employment, a relevant bachelor's degree, and 9+ years of system safety engineering experience, including military aircraft or avionics program experience.
