Description
Shield AI is hiring a Safety Engineer for its X-BAT program to support the development, integration, and verification of system-level safety requirements. The role applies safety engineering methods such as STPA, SSA, FTA, PHA, and FMEA; maintains hazard tracking systems; supports safety cases, airworthiness documentation, risk assessments, and mishap investigations; and collaborates with systems engineering, cybersecurity, customer, and Department of Defense representatives. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5–8+ years of relevant experience, hazard-log experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.
