Description

O2EPCM, Inc. is hiring a full-time Safety Manager for an onsite districtwide role serving Los Angeles Community College District campuses. The position oversees construction safety compliance across multiple projects, including OSHA requirements, OCIP procedures, daily safety reviews, inspections, incident reporting, contractor safety submittals, hazard assessments, and safety orientation. The role requires extensive commercial construction, California, educational, and multi-site safety experience, along with specified safety certifications and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification. The salary range is $112,000 to $117,000, with 100% paid health, vision, and dental coverage and other benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7 years of commercial construction experience in the United States with a general contractor
5 years of experience in California with a contractor or major subcontractor
2 years of experience constructing educational projects in a campus environment
Experience managing field construction teams on multiple projects
Experience with demolition, renovation, and new construction building projects
Experience working on OCIP programs
Experience with hazardous-material abatement, remediation, and waste handling in modernization and renovation projects
Experience working with senior management and field teams on large building programs across multiple sites
Experience participating in scheduled construction meetings with contractors and project managers
Experience with safety incident reporting and daily construction reporting across multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications: Construction management, safety management, safety engineering, or related degree
Additional safety or health certifications and credentials
Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
Current OSHA 500 trainer certification
