Description
The Energy Cooperative is hiring a Safety Manager (Electric Operations) to develop, implement, and administer safety, health, training, and regulatory compliance programs for electric utility operations and facilities. The role supports a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, field audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, emergency response, regulatory compliance, contractor oversight, and continuous improvement. It requires a related bachelor’s degree, at least five years of progressively responsible safety experience, knowledge of electric utility safety standards, and the ability to travel to service centers and job sites, including during emergencies, outages, weekends, and holidays.
